Wow, wow, wow. Yes!!! Restacking. I am hoping to get pregnant within a few years and kind of realized that I want to have that flexibility so I can spend more time with kids assuming we are able to have them. I am kind of experimenting with different options that are not employer based, but am not there yet. I think I will get there eventually.
I think Substack could be an option for me! I have some growth, but it is slow. It could be a good sign!
I tried Etsy, but am debating closing the store because I don’t have any growth.
I am applying for my MBA, and if I get in and decide to go, I am considering listing essay review services on Fiverr based on my experience. I don’t think I have skills that can be applied to freelance consulting just yet, but maybe I need to get creative!
You’ve got a great variety there! I’m curious with the MBA, is there a specific career path that you are looking to activate as a result of having that degree?
I work in technology product management, so hoping to use the MBA to grow there! And also help me get some business acumen when I’m ready to work for myself. I have a super technical background, so I would love to learn more about marketing, operations, etc.
This is so good! And such a refreshing take on the trimester zero conversation. I’m spending a lot of time thinking about how I can create space for motherhood and a *fulfilling* career now before I decide to get pregnant.
I loveee this! It’s perfectly aligned with my thoughts on fertility prep years in advance too. This is how we set ourselves up for the best experiences possible!
I thought so much of you while writing it! So many synergies here on both the health, financial, and career sides. Def need to get some time in the calendar to discuss 😌
This is soo well written and has excellent information! I also resonate so hard because I am that first trimester woman and I am thinking exactly about this! I want to create options for myself before I get pregnant! Thank you for this 🥰
I’m so glad this resonated, Lia! I think it’s just that - how can we build options for ourselves that we may or may not activate, but can find peace knowing are there.

Love that you’re experimenting with different channels! Does one of them feel most exciting/intriguing?

So glad it resonated! There is sooo much T0 content out there and struggled to find much on the career front.
